Eckart's older brother. He is First Kapellmeister at the Opera in Radebeul (near Dresden). He is also composer and arranger.
Boy's choir “Dresdner Kreuzchor”
This is my old the boy's choir in Dresden. I spent there 8 years, from 1980-1988, learning how to sing, play the piano and to conduct.
The name Kreuzchor translates into ‘Cross Choir’, named after the church at one of the main squares in Dresden. Founded between 1234 and 1300 it is one of the oldest and most renowned boys' choirs in the world.
DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service
Eckart was a scholarship of this organization. This scholarship enabled him to come and study in the U.S.
